1 Peter 5:7 - "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."
Psalm 91 - "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord:  He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;  he is my God, and I trust him.  For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.  He will cover you with his feathers.  He will shelter you with his wings.  His faithful promises are your armor and protection.  Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.  Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you;no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The Lord says, 'I will rescue those who love me.  I will protect those who trust in my name.  When they call on me, I will answer;  I will be with them in trouble.  I will rescue and honor them.  I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”'

I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!  The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights."
1 Thessalonians 4:9-12 - "But we don't need to write to you about the importance of loving each otehr, for God himself has taught you to love one another.  Indeed, you already show your love for all the believers throughout Macedonia.  Even so, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you to love them even more.  Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before.  Then people who are not Christians will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others."

1 Corinthians 13:1-13 - "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.  And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries, but have not love, I am nothing.  If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.  Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or fude.  It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never ends.  As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.  When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.  When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.  For now we see in a mirror dimly, bu then face to face.  Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.  So now faith, hope and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
Ecclesiastes 5:10-20 - "Those who love money will never have enough.  How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!  The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it.  So what good is wealth-except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers! People who work hard sleep well, whether they eat little or much.  But the rich seldom get a good night's sleep.  There is another serious problem I have seen under the sun.  Hoarding riches harms the saver.  Money is put into risky investments that turn sour, and everything is lost.  In the end, there is nothing left to pass on to one's children.  We all come to the end of our lives as naked and empty-handed as on the day we were born.  We can't take our riches with us.  And this, too, is a very serious problem.  People leave this world no better off than when they came.  All their hard work is for nothing - like working for the wind.  Throughout their lives, they live under a cloud-frustrated, discouraged, and angry.  Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good.  It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life.  And it is a good thinkg to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it.  To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life-this is indeed a gift from God.  God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brook over the past."

John 14:12-14 - "I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.  You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!"
John 14:27-28 - "'I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart.  And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give.  So don't be troubled or afraid.  Remember what I told you:  I am going away, but I will come back to you again.  If you really loved me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am.'"
